Investigations continue on murder rape case

Investigations are still ongoing for the case of a 46 year old woman who was living with disability who was found dead at her family residence at East Boroko on the morning of Sunday the 04th of March.

The woman who was visually impaired and mute, was found naked with her body battered – Homicide believe she was raped until she succumbed to her injuries.  

In earlier reports released by the NCD Metropolitan Superintendent Commander Perou N’Dranou, Homicide stated that the body of the woman from Central province.

He said the women was found under her family house, naked with initial reports placing the time of death between 2 and 3am.

They had observed at that time, that the woman could have died from strangulation or suffocation whilst being raped.

According to the Homicide unit – the death is highly suspicious however they have not found any suspects at this time.
