Enrollment for IBS degree program underway

Institute of Business Studies is announcing that its new Degree program apart from its ongoing affiliated Southern Cross University, Australian Degree program has commenced its admission for the 2017 Academic year.

Students are now looking for options to enroll for tertiary education after either Grade 10 or Grade 12 education.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Institute of Business Studies focuses on students’ success and for that reason, the institute and its academics have designed its new IBS Degree programs to support the growing need for more degree holders and certified professionals in Papua New Guinea.

Approved by the Department of Higher Education, Science Research and Technology (DHERST), the new IBS Degree Programs, apart from the institute’s ongoing affiliated Southern Cross University, Australian Degree program has received a good number of applications for 2017.

Acting Student Services Manager Kellianne Ewam, spoke of the Institute of Business Studies and its new Degree program, adding that students who enroll for this program will be pioneers of IBS Degree program. Furthermore, DHERST has for this year granted scholarships approval for 2016 school leavers.

Several students who have applied to the institute have expressed enthusiasm to study at the Institute of Business Studies and are looking forward to registering in their chosen field of study.

Certificate courses registration dates will run from January 9 to 20, with Orientation on January 19 and classes start on Monday  January 23, 2017.

The IBS Degree program registration dates are from January 16 to February 10, 2017, with Orientation  to take place on January  16 to 17, 2017. Classes for IBS Degree programs will commence on Monday February 20, 2017.

In affiliation with Southern Cross University, students intending to apply for the Southern Cross University Degree Program can note that registration is on February 1 to  17, 2017. Student orientation will be held on February 24,  with commencement of classes on Monday, February 27 2017.

The Institute of Business Studies welcomes all interested applicants to visit the school at our Saraga Campus in Six-Mile, Port Moresby to find the best opportunity to further education or a chosen career path.

Continuing students and students who have previously applied to study at the Institute of Business Studies, can look out for the Acceptance List to be published in the local daily newspapers this week or consult the school to confirm listing.
