The Believe campaign is birthed out of a vision to bring sustainable change and development to the great nation of Papua New Guinea.
The campaign believes that this is the opportune time in history to launch a movement that will unlock the nation’s greatest asset – its people.
The Believe PNG Team is partnering together with several organisations to launch a series of initiatives to make this happen.
“We are honoured to come alongside great leaders of this nation to bring positive change in the spheres of leadership, education, business, health and the church. We believe that Papua New Guinea can become a model nation in the Asia-Pacific region that is built on Kingdom principles, with the Bible as its foundation,” the group stated in a media release.
Believe campaign was launched in 2016 with a team of about 50 people and saw over 60,000 people attend the national celebration on Repentance Day.
They also ran programs in schools, prisons and halfway houses and were privileged to impact many communities.
This August, the group is bringing hundreds of people from across the world to PNG to run projects in schools, hospitals, hallway houses, prisons and other spheres of the community.
“We will be holding night rallies in three different regions, bringing people of all ages together,” Believe team said.
As part of this campaign, the team will gather together with the people of PNG in the capital city and run leadership events as well as nationwide celebrations on the weekend of Repentance Day.
“We will be launching the Believe Leadership Summit, where we plan to speak to political and business leaders as well as to the top students in the nation – the next generation of leaders. We are also running three nationwide celebrations this time, from 25th – 27th August.”
