Big Rooster to include Kids Menu soon

PNG's popular fast-food outlet - Big Rooster has plans to expand its menu.

As part of its 30th anniversary changes, the fast food aims to introduce a kids menu.

In this effort, Big Rooster is allowing the participation of children to determine the box and menu board design.

The fast food today started a drawing competition for children between the ages 5 to 12.

Each child can submit as many entries he or she chooses, based on either of two themes: 1. My family time at Big Rooster and/or 2. My playtime with Mr Rooster.

This is only open to Port Moresby and Lae.

Entries can be dropped off at any BR outlets in the two cities.

The competition runs through to June 30, where top three winning entries will be selected from a thorough screening process.

Each winner receives a gift voucher and K1,000 each.

Added on to that, the artwork submitted will either inspire the design of the kids menu pack and/or menu board or be used as it is, with the winner's name, if the artwork is outstanding.

"Children have very imaginative minds and we would like to use that," said the fast food representative, Anurag Borkar.

The new menu should be announced later in July.

Big Rooster is also planning on introducing burgers into the menu but that is still in its concept stages.

Borkar said there will be more exciting announcements to be made by July.
