Big Rooster has vision for expansion

Vision City Big Rooster is not the only new outlet and definitely not the last, it seems.

Did you know that there’s a Big Rooster outlet at the Steamships Plaza in Downtown Port Moresby?

These two outlets follow the acquisition of another fastfood chain, Chicken Delight.

And guess what? There’s more to come, according to a spokesperson from Big Rooster.

Anurag Borkar said Big Rooster aims to be the kitchen of the country and is currently on an expansion spree.

“We want to be conveniently located for customers, not near to them. That’s why in Port Moresby, we have about 12 outlets. Other centres put together, that’s 20 now. Maybe two more or so to come. And as far as Vision City is concerned, this is safe and secure environment so we will be open from 9am until 12 midnight,” he said.

This year, 2017 is also a special year or the fast food chain.

“It’s 30th year and is a special occasion for us. We’ve planned a lot of activities for the next 12 months. We’ll be starting with the announcement of our anniversary sometime later this month and we’d be happy for customers to see what we have to offer,” he said.

“We’ve been here for so long and when it comes to fast food, BR is always regarded as that.”
