Sharzy embarks on Pacific Tour

Sharzy will be travelling the Pacific this year to celebrate his 16 years in the music industry.

Calling it the Pacific Tour, the Hem Stret singer will cover the island nations of Vanuatu, Fiji, New Caledonia, Australia and Tonga.

The Solomon Island artist has already begun the first leg of the tour in Papua New Guinea, where he has been residing for the last two years.

His last tour was in 2011, celebrating his 10th anniversary, where he covered Queensland, Australia.

And this time, he aims to reach those places he didn’t perform in.

“There are new songs I’ve recorded but am not embarking for that. I’ll be going around the pacific and giving people, those who didn’t see Sharzy in other Pacific Island nations, their chance to a live performance. Like Tonga, I’ve never performed there so Tonga is part of the plan. And this time around, it will be bigger,” he said.

Sharzy is still awaiting naming rights for the tour but in the meantime going under Mangrove studios in New Caledonia.

His encouragement to fellow artists is to go around from Island to Island to promote their music.
