Planet Native reveals exciting news!

Planet Native’s Stud Cruzer has revealed some exciting news for fans.

The hip-hop group is not slowing down any time soon following the spotlight shared during the stint with Coke Studio 2.

The group will be releasing their first EP (extended play) in May and this track will combine all their hits.

“This EP will include pure hip-hop elements, and will really show the world the level hip-hop in PNG has reached,” says Stud Cruzer.

The group has been in the music scene for at least five years now, releasing well over 20 songs.

They initially started off with five members and catching audience’s attention with the hit Waga Shake.

Despite the fact that only two members are based here in Port Moresby now, the group will hold a concert in June.

Art of Hustler, a concert, will also feature a few other hip-hop artists in the country.

Yansa-Q and Stud Cruiser (and Mongrel as the hype-man) will be performing at the PNG music awards on March 28, featuring another hip-hop artist, Noxxy Dawg.

Meantime, the group is working on a new single, soon to be released.

The only information the band can reveal at this time is that this new single will be in a Highlands language and will definitely be a hit.
