PBF: Over 10,000 people yet to collect shares

More than 10,000 members of the Pacific Balance Fund are yet to collect shares owed to them.

This was announced by Lawrence Stephens, general manager - corporate affairs and governance, Melanesian Trustee Services Limited.

He challenged the newly appointed face of the fund, Renee Jasmine Siaguru, to find these missing members using the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP) PNG platform.

Siaguru was the first contestant to join the annual pageant and is sponsored by Pacific Balance Fund/ Melanesian Trustee Services Limited.

“Part of the challenge is to assist us find these missing members, the people who invested years ago in this fund, and who aren’t aware that they still have an investment,” said Stephens.

“So part of what we do publicly is to encourage people to come forward and check to make sure if their investment is still current and pick up the money that is owing to them.

“There’s well over 10,000 people who still need to come forward,” he added.

Siaguru acknowledged this responsibility and on behalf of the fund, encouraged the unverified unit holders to come forward, verify their identity and claim their shares.
