Introducing…Carols on the Diamond!

Want to get into the true spirit of Christmas in a secure environment, surrounded with families, friends and fellow Port Moresby residents?

Why not experience for the first time ever, the Port Moresby Women’s Softball Association ‘Carols on the Diamond’?

The inaugural event will be held at the Bisini Softball Precinct, diamond 1, today (Dec 17) at 6pm.

Publicity officer Sophie Malaibe told Loop PNG: “Since softball is a family sport, the association is using the concept to bring families together.”

Apart from that, the association is hoping to secure its future with revenue from the event.

This occasion will ensure PMWSA’s smooth running if it fails to secure a sponsor to help run its seasonal competition.

“We are very excited to run it!” says Malaibe.

“This will better in the coming years as it will definitely not be the last.”

Your security is definitely guaranteed as the association has requested, through the assistant police commissioner David Manning, for full surveillance at the area.

What’s more, entry is strictly by tickets only.

Ticket prices are: Affiliates at K25, adults – K25, children – K10, family pack – K70 and vehicle pass (including driver) – K35. The ticket cost includes one battery-operated candle as well.

Why are you still at home? Take your family and haus lain out for a treat this evening!
