Wabag LLG president to contest open seat

Wabag LLG president Roy Kipalan will be contesting the Wabag Open seat held by incumbent Robert Ganim.

It will be THE Party candidate nominated by Opposition Leader Don Polye against PNC party endorsed candidate of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.   

Both candidates are from Teremanda village in Enga Province.

Kipalan boasted about his work as the Mayor for Wabag.

He said from the LLG Support Improvement Program fund of K200,000 in the last two years, he had delivered six projects, and is confident of winning the Open seat.

Kipalan is the nephew of former Wabag MP, late Sir Albert Kipalan.

He said extension of Wabag town boundaries to Amala and Teremanda villages is one of his policies.

Others are, to dedicate Wabag District to God, build a girls' academy at Kamas, establish an Agriculture college in Sirunki and complete the road link to Maramuni.
