Police concerned over underage pregnancies during election time

Police Station Commander (PSC) for Kwikila in the Central Province Chief Sergeant Kwaipo Gimana has raised concerns over underage pregnancy and the spread of HIV/AIDS during election time.

During an awareness conducted in Kalo Village at Hula in the Central Province over the weekend, Sergeant Gimana raised concerns on underage pregnancy  affecting young girls in villages.

"During the election period, a lot of candidates and supporters will carry cash to lure voters and young girls can become vunerable to such situations," said PSC Gimana.

The team were well received by the Kalo villages, where a lot of villages were not aware of election-related  incidences.
