Moresby Northeast candidate launches campaign

Hundreds of supporters witnessed an intending candidate for Moresby Northeast Electorate, Sape Molumi, launch his campaign yesterday at the Constitutional Park.

Molumi is a local businessman and engineer from Mendi, endorsed by the People’s Movement for Change Party (PMfC).

Molumi will be challenging sitting member for Moresby Northeast, Labi Amaiu, for the hot seat.

He told supporters and the people of Moresby Northeast that he will base his leadership on bringing in change for the people and improving their living standards. These include building proper infrastructure and building new homes.

Molumi confirmed that he will nominate on Wednesday, April 26.

Party Leader, sitting Northern Governor Gary Juffa, was also present at the launch, along with other candidates endorsed by the Party.

Juffa said PMfC endorses genuine leaders who want to see change in PNG.

“We all contribute in the effort to identify genuine leaders and we invest in their leadership by investing in their campaign.

“It can only be then that we actually procure and own a servant leader,” Juffa highlighted at the launch.

Juffa also spoke on his Party policies, which include four main areas it will focus on to serve the interests of PNG and the people, namely education, law and order, health care and transport infrastructure.

PMfC has so far endorsed 30 intending candidates contesting in this General Election.
