Former candidates back Rigo MP

Four candidates who had contested the 2012 National Elections for Rigo Open are now rallying behind sitting member Ano Pala to retain his seat in 2017.

All four were present at Pala’s rally yesterday at Galomarupu village, and are confident Pala will return for the third term.

“In politics, you need delivery and the things Ano has done is what the people want. Why should I challenge him again?” said Wala Gamu from Galomarupu village.

“We had a good race in 2012 but I support him now. He’s done a good job for the Rigo people.

“As for now, I see that services are going to all parts of Rigo. So we have joined Ano Pala to help him bring more services to Rigo,” said Humble Kini Vini from Kore village.

“I can tell you safely we will easily score 90 percent of the voters there. I believe we will garner the support we need.

Friend Kini from Keapara village said: “I think Ano Pala is a very wise and calculating man. He knows where the support is, which is what politics is all about.”

Edward Tau from Sivitatana village stated: “I think this partnership with Ano Pala will make Rigo great again. This is the choice we have to make.”
