The Eastern Highlands will go to the polls today.
More than 500,000 ballot papers have been distributed to the eight districts.
Provincial Election Manager Steven Kaupa confirmed that although they finished the verification a little late, all sensitive and non-sensitive election materials have been dispatch under tight security.
He said counting will begin as soon as polling in all the districts is completed.
