Pangu candidate Rainbo Paita has overtaken sitting MP and National Parliament Speaker, Theo Zurenuoc.
Paita has taken over by 51 Votes after elimination 28 in the Finschafen Open.
Returning Officer, Essing Ulam told Loop PNG that a declaration is expected this afternoon.
With 14 more elimination counts to go, the new member elect for the Open seat in Morobe Province is expected to go either way, Pangu or PNC.
