First preferential counting for Goilala Open came to an end this afternoon 5:30pm.
The last box was from Woitape station in the Woitape LLG.

There were 98 informal papers from a total of 21 441 ballot papers counted from the district.
Meantime, counting was suspended for an hour.
Quality check for both seats will take place this evening.
Once completed, ballot papers for Central Regional from Goilala will be transported to the Murray Barracks' Ben Moide club where elimination of the regional seat is set to take place.
Meanwhile, elimination for the Goilala Open Seat will continue tomorrow at the same venue - Gordon police gymnasium.
