World Supermodel PNG to use Paraka wardrobe

It’s not every day you get the opportunity to be involved with the local branch of an international prestigious franchise like World Supermodel.

Vanessa Paraka did not think for a second when she was approached to be the official sponsor of World Supermodel PNG photo-shoot wardrobe.

Besides, she was looking for ways to put her more than 200 dresses into good use.

Yes! More than 200 dresses is correct.

“I bought these dresses over the years but have worn them only one time to either school functions or other formal events.

“I was going to sell them but then was approached by World Supermodel PNG to supply their wardrobe,” Paraka said.

Paraka, who at the moment is in PNG, lived in Australia doing her grade 4 to 12 before moving to Singapore to study International Business and Business Management at James Cook University – Singapore.

The young lass from Western Highlands will help the local pageant to dress the 13 contestants.

She supplied the first 25 dresses on Wednesday.

These glamorous dresses will be used in the photo shoots and then sold under her "Piyange" brand which means "young beautiful woman" in Baiyer - WHP.
