The Women Weavers of Milne Bay are holding a two day multifaceted exhibition showcasing traditional weaving techniques and creation of women master weavers of Milne Bay Province.
It is an event that is created to provide an opening for women to showcase culture from a woman's perspective and is a platform that promotes women's traditional and modern integrity through the art of weaving.
The two day event which began yesterday in Alotau and will showcase cultural exhibitions, presentations from Milne Bay women master weavers from Milne Bay and their contribution to traditional Milne Bay Society, complimented by cultural performances, traditional food and interaction for all.
