Two policemen in Jiwaka have been arrested after crashing a vehicle that was hired for police investigations.
Jiwaka police reported that the two officers were allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
The incident occurred on September 30th at about 8pm at the Minj Road, Jiwaka Province.
It was reported that suspects Constable J Mangi and Constable P Tamusus allegedly misused the vehicle Toyota Land Cruiser, 10 Seater.
Both policemen have been suspended as investigations are being carried out into the incident.
