Tkatchenko to upgrade Sevese Morea School

Member for Moresby South and Minister for Sport Justin Tkatchenko has pledged to rehabilitate the Sevese Morea Primary at Vabukori in the upcoming months.

During his remarks at the launching of the rehabilitated Sevese Morea Elementary school, Tkatchenko thanked the Digicel PNG Foundation for their donation of four classrooms and water tanks.

He thanked the son of the Late Sevese Morea of which the Sevese Morea Elementary school was named after as well as the schools Board of Management for their role in trying to keep the young children in school and out of trouble.

“My promise is Sevese Morea Primary School will be next in line for rehabilitation and maintenance,” he pledged.

Tkatchenko pledged that he will now be looking at Sevese Primary School project in the next couple of months for rehabilitation for students who will be finishing off their elementary grades and moving into the primary level soon.

He added that  the Sevese Primary School will need to be fixed quickly so that elementary school children that are here who might want to go to go the next level can benefit and learn in a decent and healthy environment.
