Team Madang acknowledge Sponsors

TEAM Madang management has thanked all the sponsors who have come on board to support the Team’s preparation to the PNG Games in Kimbe.

Team Madang General Manager John Gringo and Madang Provincial Community Development Assistant Advisor Joe Bande in a meeting yesterday said Team Madang preparation is going well and credit goes out to code sponsors and general team sponsors.

Bande said Madang Provincial Government, Ramu Agri Industry Limited, Wasmatau Limited, RD Tuna Canners Limited and others have supported Team Madang well in the last PNG Games and have come on board again to support the team.

He thanked Ramu Agri Industry the supplier of Ramu Sugar and Ramu Beef for the sponsorship of K50,000 which will go straight towards the supplier of the uniform, and walkout wear for the team and officials.

Bande along with Gringo further thanked Madang Provincial Government under the leadership of Jim Kas and Provincial Administrator Daniel Aloi for the continuous support to sports.

He also thanked RD Tuna Canners Limited for the last PNG Games and their pledge to continue the support and Wasmatau, local company for supporting volleyball in subsidising the levy fee, uniforms and other necessary items.

Bande said the support will go a long way and Team Madang is prepared to prove they are competitive.

Meanwhile, Gringo said Team Madang still needs more funding to cater for Transportation, and food in the two weeks duration of the game.

“As part of fundraising drive Team Madang will be holding a corporate dinner on October 22 at Madang Country Club to raise funds to meet the high transport cost,”

“A Table will go for K5,000 with ten people and 15 tables up for sale,” he said.

Gringo said business houses, corporate bodies in Madang who cannot meet the K5,000 can make agreement with others and co-sponsor the table, and those who cannot get one can help in kind like sponsoring wines, auction items and others.

He said individuals and business houses who wish to pay for a table or contribute in cash or kind can contact the Fundraising Committees Chairman Atis Deme on 72055550 or Reuben Tabel on 72762034 for further information.
