Students with disability enjoy day with NRL stars

Students from the Callan Special Education Resource Centre in Gerehu were sparkling with joy when the PNGNRL team visited the school to conduct a special rugby session today.

The PNGNRL through the League Bilong Laif program visited the school and conducted games with persons with disabilities.

The inclusive event saw a few disabled students participating in rugby-related activities led by PNGNRL staff.

With the key message to students on the importance of education and having respect for self and others around them including disable children.

The students enjoyed the day outside the classroom for an hour before going back to classes for the day.
