Spain LaLiga donates 3,500 soccer balls to PNGFA

A co-operation project between the Embassy of Spain in Canberra in collaboration with the Spanish Professional Football League, donated 3,500 balls to the Papua New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) at the European Union Delegation office yesterday.

The balls donated will be distributed to the member associations throughout the country in developing football.

The aim of this project is to promote the sport and its values as a tool for social inclusion which can support children, women and vulnerable groups of people in different contexts.

The Spanish Professional Football Foundation, LaLiga donated the first 100 soccer balls on the occasion of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup while the other portion  will be donated at a later date.
