SP Brewery recorded another milestone recently, celebrating 365 days without an accident at its Lae Brewery in Morobe Province.
Managing Director, Stan Joyce said the company has gone refined its operations to ensure that safety is achieved at all levels.
Joyce said no other asset in the company is as important as the people that contribute with their work to our business results.
“Therefore SP Brewery is committed in ensuring that all our staff are provided a healthy and safe working environment,” said Joyce.
Lae Brewery Manager, Stephan Jansen said the staff celebrated in Lae, a milestone that has not been achieved in living memory: 365 days without an accident.
Jansen said the party motto was centred around the company’s Life Saving rules which are focused on “support over control” within the Brewery’s operations.
“We celebrated our beer, our brewery, our safety achievement in a safe and responsible manner.
“Our supply chain director promised that we will repeat this party when our days without accidents reach 730,” said Jansen.
