SP Hunters show hidden talents in karaoke night

There's a softer side to the mighty SP Hunters, if you didn't know.

Apart from working hard to ascend  the Intrust Super Cup competition ladder, the boys can hit notes, hold their breath and entertain.

In a new twist on Thursday night, the SP Hunters took to competing against each other in a friendly karaoke competition.

This first ever karaoke competition is part of their fellowship and recreational activities that take place every Thursdays.

The pack divided into six groups, belting out hits from ‘the eagles', fellowship songs as well as local Tolai hymn.

The night was loud rowdy, but it was a different kind of loudness- filled with fun and laughter all the way through.

'Men of honour', a make up of Wartovo Puara, Ase Boas, Blend Abavu and Tuvi Lepan led by Joe Bruno, took out the first price.

Joe later joked that he is now looking into the music career.

The other groups received their fair share of prizes with Watson Boas and Nickson Borana, calling themselves 'lights out', settled for last.

The runners- up were Breakers (Philomen Kimisive, Ishmael Balkawa, Atte Bina and Benjamin Hetra) in second place while third place who did a solo run was Silas Gahuna.

The Team will be playing against the Ipswich Jets this afternoon at the National Football Stadium at 4pm and are calling on all their fans to support them in this crucial game.
