SNS Vipers meet Gulf Isapeas in a grudge match

Two Port Moresby-based teams will go on head to head in a bone crunching battle in the Digicel Cup fixture tomorrow at Sir Hubert Murray stadium in Port Moresby.

The Port Moresby SNS Vipers winning their round 6 match against TNA Simbu Lions last Sunday despite being outside of the top eight  on the ladder are confident to play against the Gulf Isapea’s who are currently running fifth on the ladder.

Isapeas are a balance team with skipper Bernard Goma leading the forwards Japheth Olik coordinating with the second rowers in calling the shots on attacks.

Isapeas centre and trying scoring machine Jackins Mark Olam will be another key for the Isapeas however, the Vipers will depend greatly on their forwards and dummy half runs to penetrate through the Isapeas solid defence.

Moreover, other main games to watch this weekend are the third sixth playoff of Waghi Tumbe and Wamp Nga Mt Hgn Eagles in Minj oval and the EPG Enga Mioks match against the Agmark Rabaul Gurias in Wabag.
