Slain Sacramento community college student identified

Authorities have identified the man killed in a shooting on the edge of a Sacramento, California, community college.

The Sacramento Bee reports Friday that the Sacramento County Coroner's Office has identified the man as 25-year-old Roman P. Gonzalez of Sacramento as the victim of Thursday's deadly shooting at Sacramento City College.

The gunman remains at large. Authorities said another victim was hospitalized and is expected to survive and a third was grazed by a bullet. Their names have not been released. All three were students at the school.

The college reopened Friday.

Authorities say the shooting began as an argument between two groups of men. Police said a physical fight escalated when a knife and gun were pulled out.
