Sexual orgy lands NZ man in court

A man from New Zealand returned to court with his partner this morning over allegations of sexual penetration charges that took place in Port Moresby last year.

Douglas Ross Crabb (34) of Otahuhu, New Zealand and Stella Teha Pia, a Papua New Guinean woman briefly appeared at the Waigani Committal Court for sex charges.

The court was told investigation files in the case were completed by Police and served to the accuseds’ lawyers.

The matter will return to court on March 14 where submissions will be heard.

Ross is facing allegations he sexually penetrated a woman (name withheld) without her consent on Aug 1, 2015 at Meara place, Angau Drive in Boroko.

He was arrested on Nov 5 last year and charged under section 347 of the Criminal code act.

It is alleged that both Ross and Pia engaged in sexual activities with the victim at their home in Boroko while she was disoriented, weak and helpless.

The victim was allegedly invited to the couple’s house for a farewell gathering that went wrong for her after one too many drinks that caused her to pass out.

The victim later woke up confused as she found herself in the couple’s bed. There the two allegedly engaged the victim in sexual activities that saw Ross allegedly sexually penetrating her without her consent.

A complaint was later lodged by the victim and that led to the arrest of the two.
