Manus residents are converging at the Constitutional park in Port Moresby to celebrate their Provincial Day.
Stalls are filled with the famous Manus baskets and necklaces as well as head bands.
The day is anticipated to be filled with the beats of the Sori Haringan cultural group, and others from Ptylu, M'buke and Pak islands.
Other groups include Los Negros, Aspat and Kuruti-Andra.
A Mr and Ms Manus contest will also be held.
Guest speaker will be NCD Governor Powes Parkop and Health Minister Michael Malabag.
There will also be live band performances from the Bipi String Band.
