The event will be held at the Ela Beach Amphitheatre starting at 9am and will be hosted by Transparency International PNG (TIPNG).
Communications and public relations manager for TIPNG, Yvonne Ngutlick said the main aim of the event is to build a ‘wall of commitment’ to bring about a corruption-free PNG.
She said the event will include a press conference at the Advocacy & Legal Advice Centre (ALAC) to find out what Papua New Guineans are complaining about when it comes to corruption in PNG.
The 2015 joint international campaign focuses on how corruption undermines democracy and the rule of law and leads to human rights violations, distorts markets, erodes quality of life and allows organized crime, terrorism and other threats to human security to flourish.
