POM Snooker Handicap Challenge to cue off this month

The Port Moresby Snooker Handicap Challenge will cue off on October 27.

He said the number of participants for the event has grown over the years with men, women and juniors taking part, making it a real challenge.

Nominations to take part are now open and the registration fee is K200 per player.

“The deadline is Monday October 24 at 8pm. A K50 discount will be given if you pay before the deadline

“Nomination forms are available at the participating venues- Aviat Club, Laguna Hotel and Lamana Q Club,” said Chan.

Chan explained that the Handicap Challenge is the event where those with high handicaps have a chance to play against the country’s best snooker players.

He finished by saying that with the Handicaps updated after the Corporate Snooker competition and the championships, anybody has the chance to win the Handicap Challenge.

Danny Earles is the tournament director and will be assisted by Gamu Miria, Ida Keni and Malcolm Currie.
