Police: Hanuabada investigation to start soon

A fresh team of investigators will be sorted out for the Hanuabada shooting investigations.

This according to Deputy Police Commissioner for Administration Jim Andrews is so that the team can be neutral in their findings.

The previous team of investigators will need to hand over all their case briefs, for the new team to go over them.

Andrews says that to date, no work has been done with regards to the case as most of the briefs have yet to be handed to the new team.

He says that most of the findings and major key evidence uncovered previously will need to be looked at again.

Also, all eye witnesses will need to be spoken to as well to try to get a fresh perspective on the case.

Andrews adds that police will also have to take into account the inclusion of additional information in the form of a bullet that was handed over by the shooting victim who survived.
