Most PNG Games facilities in Kimbe West New Britain are still under construction while a few are partly complete.
Five mini stadiums are built with two in Kimbe town that will host the track and field events while the other stadium is for other ball games like volleyball, soccer and basketball, that are still framed and awaiting completion by Nivani Construction Company.
The other three are built just outside of town where two are just off the town boundary in Kulingi and Kapore while the furthest is in Hoskins just outside the aiport gates.
Venues outside of town were headed and built by local sub-contractors that saw all in good shape and awaiting games with slight touches on grounds to be in full condition.
Hoskins and Kapore mini stadiums are conditioned and look ready for the games.
