Over 170 countries are taking part in the World Games with 7000 plus athletes competing in different sports.

Special Olympics PNG (SOPNG) President, Takale Tuna said for all of PNG’s athletes to make the finals in their individual events is a phenomenal feat.

“They have been placing 4th 5th 6th and 7th in events they entered which means PNG is in the top 10 countries in the World Games,” said Tuna.
