Parliament adjourns

Parliament has been adjourned to July 22 in compliance with the Parliament standing orders.

The house was under “intense pressure” as Speaker Theo Zurenuoc introduced the vote of no-confidence.

Members of  both sides of the house were panicking and calling for a point of order unnecessarily .

However, the Speaker controlled the MPs.

Today’s special parliament sitting was ordered by the Supreme Court to deliberate on the motion of the vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.

More to come…
