Attorney General Ano Pala and his lawyers are at the Waigani District Court hoping to secure bail for the minister who was arrested earlier today.
Magistrate John Kaumi will hear the application.
Minister Pala earlier today presented himself to fraud and anti-corruption detectives for questioning. A short time ago, he was arrested and charged with attempting to prevent the cause of justice.
