Pageant contestants visit Caritas school

The six girls contesting in the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant PNG visited Caritas Girls Technical Secondary School today.

They were accompanied by reigning MPIP PNG Grace Nugi.

The contestants gave an educational talk and encouragement to the students and empowered many of them who listened with enthusiasm.

Miss Nugi encouraged the students to contribute well to society by doing well in the community at a young age.

The contestants also expressed why they decided to be part of the pageant and this  motivated many of the students.

The students also got the chance to ask questions after hearing all the encouragement.

At the end of the session, MPIP PNG committee donated K1000 to the school.

The contestants later took a tour of the school and were impressed with facilities.

School director  Sister Florentina Cho thanked the contestants for their time in visiting the school.

The crowning night is scheduled for tomorrow  (Saturday 14 Nov) in Port Moresby.
