The Pacific Women in Business Website was officially launched in November 2015 by the Hon Julie Bishop, Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The site was launched in the presence of representatives from the Papua New Guinea Government, Diplomatic Corp and Business Community at an event in Port Moresby.
The Website is a joint initiative of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Westpac Bank. Pacific Women in Business is a new one-stop-shop for information on business for women in Papua New Guinea, Fiji and across the Pacific.
It aims to provide women business owners with the inspiration, tools and contacts they need to become successful entrepreneurs.
With one of BCFW’s key goals being to expand opportunities for women-owned businesses in member supply chains, the website also features BCFW which highlights the key strategic collaborative approach of the Coalition.
