Franchise supporters have also been informed to play their part by supporting in an orderly manner and not bring the game into disrepute.
NSL competitions sub-committee chairman Joseph Ealedona recently stated that they have received reports of supporters in Madang using sling shots to disturb players which is a serious allegation.
Ealedona said any more reports of such will trigger off a response from the Board and the Madang community will not see NSL games Madang township.
“The safety of players is paramount and we will protect that.
“We have a big year of football next year and let’s set the pace beginning with the NSL in January 2016,” he said.
The competition is currently on a two weeks festive break and will return with round two in early January.
