New double-classroom for June Valley Primary

June Valley Primary School in Tokarara is the proud recipient of a new double classroom, valued at K800,000.

The project consists of a brick framed double classroom structure with an office space in between the two classrooms.

The classroom was co-funded by Minister for Health, HIV/AIDS and Member for Moresby North West Michael Malabag.

This co-funding aims to support schools, teachers and students in the Moresby North West electorate in terms of building classrooms, teacher’s houses and other infrastructure.

Head Teacher for June Valley Primary School thanked Malabag for the great initiative.

“Malabag has been doing great things for the community around north west making an impact in the lives of many children and communities today.

“We are so grateful to the Minister and his team for their great support indeed. It’s all about working together making an impact in the lives of thousands which is far more satisfying.

He added that Malabag should look into teachers houses as the school currently has only two houses for the teachers with most teachers scattered all over the city.

Malabag assured the school that he will be looking into this as soon as the funds are available.
