NCDC moves to improve transport for closing ceremony

The NCD City Manager Leslie Alu says that the metropolitan government through its “Mosbi Oi mai” program anticipates good service from all of its car park wardens and the bus shuttle that it has been providing so far during the Games period.

However Alu says that in anticipation of the closing ceremony of the Games, residents are advised to make use of the parking areas and bus shuttle to and from the BSP stadium.

He says that the commission has taken note of complaints raised from the opening ceremony where the shuttle was slow to turn around and ferry passengers to and from the parking sites to the stadium.

Alu says that the public are asked to contact Frank Aku who is the NCDC Games Secretariat coordinator on 72690408 or his officer James Tapo on 71664601 should they face any inconveniences during the ceremony night.

He says that NCD has so far embraced the Games whole heartedly and congratulated residents on a smooth Games period so far.
