Namah’s constitutional questions finalised

Constitutional questions surrounding the legality of the appointment of the Leadership Tribunal by Chief Justice Sir Salamo Injia to hold an inquiry against Vanimo Green MP Belden Namah have been finalised.

The drafted consented questions were presented to the National Court this morning when the matter returned before Acting Judge Danjo Koeget.

A total of four questions were consented to by counsels representing Belden Namah and the other parties which includes lawyers representing the Public Prosecutor, The tribunal members and the Ombudsman Commission.

These questions were presented to Koeget who will refer to the Supreme Court for interpretation at a late date.
