Bouganville Provincial Disaster Coordinator Franklyn Lacey says the men were found drifting at sea by locals last week.
It is not clear exactly how the two went missing however Lacey says medical officials on the island have been requested to provide medical assistance to them.
Lacey says they will be transported to Arawa once they are picked up by the region's vessel MV Rapoise sometime this week.
He says authorities in the Solomon Islands have been notified to pick up the two men at Arawa.
