Topping the A league ladder is Zilu Scientific West FC, followed by City United FC on second placed, Lae Biscuit Poro FC on third and Bumayong FC fourth while Wawens FC fight their way into the top five to be on fifth placing.
Zilu FC and City United shared the same points on the ladder, however, due to goal average Zilu remain at the top while City United dropped to second spot.
The competition’s preliminary finals will be staged this weekend with fourth placed Bumayong FC taking on fifth placed Wawen FC and second placed City United will play third placed Lae Biscuit Poro FC.
Zilu after claiming the top spot will rest this weekend before playing the semifinals of the top four.
The heat is on and all five teams will go head to head to see who will be crowned champion of LFA 2016 season.
