Konnie Bernard has left the SP Hunters and is back training with the Agmark Gurias.
It is understood Bernard left camp last week and is already training with the Gurias.
Bernard who plays at fullback and on the wing was named as one of three development players in the final Hunters squad for 2016 that was named last week.
Simon Peter and John Ragi are the other two development players in the Hunters squad.
CEO of the PNG Rugby Football League (PNGRFL), Bob Cutmore confirmed the news.
“Basically he wanted to go back to the Gurias where he was guaranteed to play. He is still in our development squad,” said Cutmore.
