Komo- Margarima MP Francis Potape has yet to accept the fact that Hela Governor Anderson Pawa Agiru passed on this morning.
When contacted by Loop PNG this morning for confirmation, Potape said he was so shocked of the news of his passing.
He told Loop PNG that although they can be enemies in politics but Agiru was his brother through thin and thick times.
“Me and Agiru were so close and really a brother to me. “Our relationship only turns a bit sour when I went to prison and Agiru went to China to get medical help.
“Hela people have lost a great leader and a favourite son. “He will always be remembered in my heart as a true Hela son that delivered the PNG LNG project.
Late Anderson Agiru passed away this morning at the Pacific International Hospital in Port Moresby.
