K1.2 million airport robbery vehicle recovered

The getaway vehicle used by suspects involved in the 1.2M heist last Thursday at the Jacksons Airport has been recovered.

Believed to be an inside job, the armed men drove off the airport in a white Ford Ranger XLT which was discovered a day later at Five-Mile- Erima area.

Airport commander Robert Wane says the suspects are alleged to have crashed the Ford Ranger there after shifting the money to two Toyota Land Cruisers and taking off.

The suspects however are still at large and police are still investigating the whereabouts of the money and the suspects.
