Hunters aim for win against Ipswich Jets today

This afternoon’s round 22 clash between the SP PNG Hunters and the Ipswich Jets is just as important for both teams to secure top spots.

Both teams are in the top 5.

The Hunters are on 35 points in second place while the Jets are in close pursuit in third spot with 32 points.

For the Hunters, a win for them could cement top two positions.

A loss for the Hunters will allow the Jets to close in on second place with only one point separating the two.

From their last three encounters, Hunters won two matches.

The Hunters are undefeated in their last 13 matches and the late inclusion of utility Noel Zemming will provide a further boost for them.

On the other hand, the Jets are coming fresh off a bye and with the home crowd behind them will be looking to put an end to the Hunters long winning streak.

The game will kick off at 3pm at the North Ipswich Reserve.
