Government will still deliver without former PMs: Sir Puka

Minister for Public service Sir Puka Temu is confident in delivering service to the people despite former prime ministers moving to the Opposition side.

He said the government is intact and will keep delivering services to the people.

“Although some of our former PMs have left us to join the Opposition, we will continue to deliver services to our people until the 2017 elections.”

“During the formation of government, the theme of the Alotau Accord stated that this would be a Government of reconciliation, and the government has performed very well through political stability, achieving many milestones," Sir Puka said.

He said the coalition of political parties set in 2012 is commited to deliver key services like free education, free health services, infrastructure development, law and order and economic development, and have proven to our people by implementing our policies.

"This is the Government the people of Papua New Guinea will recognise to have delivered the fastest rate of development the nation has ever seen.”
