Solomon Airways taxied into the runway at Jacksons Airport, Port Moresby at 9:15pm tonight carrying a full Kiribati contingent and the Solomon Islands men's soccer team.
A combined contingent of 104 athletes and officials from Kiribati arrived.
The Solomon Islands soccer team of 25 is the first lot of athletes to come.
The rest of the contingent will arrive tomorrow.
